It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of JOHN EDWARD RUSSELL, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, on Monday, December 9, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, ROSALIA “ROSA” SCHAAFSMA (née Vujicic), passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at the age of 74 years, after a year-long battle with cancer.  

FRIEDA HILDA WENDELBOE (née Hack) passed away peacefully on December 6, 2024, at Fairmont Extendicare in Lethbridge, surrounded by her son, Michael, at 91 years. She bravely faced dementia in her final years and now rests with her Lord and Savior.

YVONNE “BONNIE” KIRK, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 90 years.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Retired Calgary Police Officer STEPHEN GEORGE SHEPPARD, of Calgary, Alberta. Stephen passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, Alberta, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the age of 75 years, after a short battle with cancer.

LAWRENCE GEORGE LYSEK, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 89 years.

LYNNE SUSAN VAN HUSEN, of Lethbridge, AB, beloved wife of Tom van Husen, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the age of 75 years.

ROBERT RALPH REICHERT, of Lethbridge, beloved brother of Sandra Stray, passed away peacefully at Fairmont Extendicare on Monday, December 9, 2024 at the age of 77 years.

KATHLEEN “KATIE” LINDSAY (née Ridley), beloved wife of Roy Lindsay, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the age of 73 years.
