VANEE "Look unto me and be you saved All the ends of the earth For I am God and there is no one else" Isaiah 45:22 "To Him be all the glory" MRS. ANNEKE (ANNE) VANEE passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Anne was born in Sleeuwijk Netherlands on September 16, 1934. She was the second child of nine children born to Bastiaan and Johanna Ouwerkerk.

ETHEL LILLIAN VAILLANCOURT, beloved wife of Wayne Vaillancourt of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael's Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the age of 70 years. Ethel is survived by Philbert Deschamps of Calgary, AB, Robert (Sharon) Deschamps of Lethbridge, AB, Sharon (Alex) Daka of Lethbridge, AB, Duane (Melanie) Vaillancourt of Lethbridge, AB, and Todd Vaillancourt of Ontario, Michelle Vaillancourt of Fort Macleod, AB. She is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

VIVIAN MAY TERRY, beloved wife of the late Richard "Dick" Terry, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Therese Villa on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 88 years. A Family Graveside Service will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan at a later date.

VIRA GAILE KING passed away at the Milk River Hospital on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Vira is survived by her 5 children; William (Janie) King of Milk River, AB, Mark King (Rita Robbins) of Fairview, AB, Brian King (Smokey Young) of Peace River, AB, Pearl (Dan) Phypers of Creston, B.C., and Larry (Sue) King of Valley View, AB, as well as 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

ELEANORA VOGT nee Madsen, beloved wife of Bill Vogt of Picture Butte, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Besides her loving husband she is survived by her five children and their families, whom she loved dearly: Grant (Echo) Vogt; Greg (Elaine) Vogt; Terry (Pam) Vogt; Suzanne (Darren) McIntosh; Sherryl (Ed) Loman and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren: Lisa (Mark) Potvin (Amber & Aiden), Tiger (Kurt) Vogt, Errol Vogt; Hillary (Ali & Naveed) Norouzi, Colleen (Brandon) Chow, Sheena (Jason & Eloise) LeMoine, Kyle (Cortney) Vogt, Samara (Jordan) McIntosh, Nikki McIntosh, Justin (Ashley) Loman, Jocelyn (Frank) Loman, and Luke Loman - as well as her special nephew Loren Montgomery (Janice & Jenna).

VELENINA "ANN" YANKE , beloved mother of Betty Rieman and Tony (Gladys) Yanke of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014, at the age of 89 years. At Ann's request, there will be no formal Funeral Service. Cremation with a private family service will take place at a later date. At this time, we would like to thank the staff of the Fairmont Extendicare and staff of Unit 3C of the Chinook Regional Hospital for their compassionate and gentle care of Ann.

BERNICE FAYE VAILE, beloved wife of Rick Vaile, of Coaldale, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, December 25th, 2015 at the age of 68 years. A private family service will be held at a later date.

VALERIE BELL, 94 years old, passed away February 1, 2009 at The Good Samaritan, Park Meadow Village in Lethbridge, Alberta. Born October 1, 1914 in Kayville, Saskatchewan. Loving mother of Sharon and her husband Tim of Seattle, WA; Larry and his wife Teresa of Lethbridge, AB; George and his wife Cheryl of Toronto, ON and John of Calgary, AB. Loving grandmother and great grandmother to Sandra (Peter Kaestle) Timothy & Sarah of Seattle, WA.

BERNS VALERIE CHRISTINE BERNS (Heater), beloved wife of Andy Berns of Lethbridge, passed away after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family by her side on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at the age of 50 years. Valerie was born September 9th, 1963 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary Alberta to Reuben and Sylvia Heater. Valerie was the oldest sister to brother Glen Heater and sister Stephanie Bradley.

On Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the age of 71 years, VALERIE MARY DOUGLAS was called home by her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ after many years of living in extreme pain and battling with the numerous complications due to Scleroderma. Valerie, daughter of Ney and Genevieve DeClercq, was born in January 1938 and grew up on the family homestead northeast of Stavely, AB. As a young woman she lived in various places, including Hawaii, as she worked first as a telephone operator and eventually as a nurse.
