December 19, 1960 - January 2, 2014 Leah passed away peacefully at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014 at the age of 53 years with Glen by her side. Left to mourn her passing are her beloved spouse Glen Thompson of Iron Springs, Alberta: his family, Son Greg (Debbie) and grandchildren Katherine, Andrew and Cody Thompson; Dad Merlin Thompson (Marg Hunt); Sisters Maxine (Carl) Johnson and Brenda (Rick) Stokes and their families.

WADE LEAVITT passed away in Lethbridge, Aug. 23, 2016 with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his brother Kelly Leavitt. He was survived by his daughter Ashley Leavitt of Lloydminster, sister Lori (Mike) Waldner of Lethbridge and parents Carol and Darryl Leavitt also from Lethbridge. There will be no service held.

RONALD “RON” JOSEPH LECLAIR of Picture Butte, passed on at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at the age of 60 years. He is remembered by Yves (Marcella) Leclair of Picture Butte, Denis (Cheryl) Leclair of Picture Butte, Celeste (John) Zeinstra of Lethbridge, Gilles (Marie) Leclair of Lethbridge and Brenda Leclair of Callingwood, Ontario. As well as eight nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and close friends Bryan, Rudy and Steve.

Lamarr ‘Lee’ Tucker passed away August 9, 2008 at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with cancer. Lee is survived by his wife Grace, 3 children, son Tim (Alison) of Taylor BC, daughter Starr (Rick) Davies, daughter Tam Tucker (Mike Calvert). He was the proud Grandpa of Taylor Davies and friend Rosalie, Laura Heptonstall (Steve), Angela Tucker, and his first great grandbaby, Kamryn Grace Heptonstall. Lee was predeceased by his Mother, Catherine Tucker (nee Webber), and his brothers Frank and Harold.

LEE, PAULINE MARY March 15, 1936 - March 1, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of PAULINE LEE of Lethbridge on March 1, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Pauline grew up in Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan, and completed her training in Nursing in Winnipeg (St. Boniface), Manitoba. She worked at Lethbridge Regional Hospital for several years as a registered nurse, after the family settled in southern Alberta in 1972.

JOHN ALFRED LEGERE, beloved husband of Mrs. Jeannie Legere, and a long time resident of Lethbridge, passed away from complications due to a stroke, at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 78 years young. John is survived by his wife of 55 years Jeannie Legere, son Brian Legere and family, daughter Karen Smith and son in-law Roger Smith, Grand children Curtis Smith and Eric Smith and great granddaughter Emma.

MRS. ANNA (Anne) LEGGE, beloved wife of the late Mr. Robert (Bob) Legge, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at Legacy Lodge on July 1, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Anne was born in Lethbridge in 1918. She is survived by her three children: Joanne (Cliff) Stroh, Lois (Leo) Ledene, Laurie (Judy) Legge. Seven grandchildren: Miles Stroh, Mike (Pam) Stroh, Lindsey Ledene, Dave (Kristi) Legge, Laura Legge, Joe (Tevi) Legge and Vanessa Legge.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Cornelis (Adri) Vander Woude, her sister Elizabeth (Johannes) Lowys, her sisters-in-law Annie Vander Woude-Sels, Lydia Vander Woude-Rothfusz, and Bregt Vander Woude-Mantel and many dear nephews and nieces, all in the Netherlands.

LENA SLANISKY (nee Genoway), a woman whose perseverance was known to many, died peacefully in Lethbridge, Alberta on Friday, October 18, 2013, at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter Slanisky, her parents Joseph and Antonia Genoway, her sisters Genevieve (Walter) Muyres, Helen (Sid) Leuchowski, Emily (Edwin) Slugoski, brothers Anothe (Krystyna) Genoway, Edmund (Elsie) Genoway and Edward Genoway. Lena is survived by her sons, Jonas (Shirley) Slanisky of Lethbridge, AB.
