ANN BURLA, beloved wife of John Burla, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Edith Cavell Nursing Home in Lethbridge at the age of 93 years. She was a long-term resident of Edith Cavell, having spent the last 14 1/2 years there until her passing. Ann was born on December 19, 1921 at Zascianocze Trembowla, Poland. At the age of four, her parents and family immigrated to Canada where they established their new home life in Canmore, Alberta.

EDITH MARY BOSCH, beloved wife of the late John Bosch, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 83 years. A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. with Prayer Leader Alice Takacs. ERNEST EDWARD BURRIS, beloved husband of the late Helen Marie Burris of Lethbridge, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Sunday, September 28th, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Ernie is lovingly remembered by his children Karen Carleton, Richard (Vi) Burris, Alvin (Shirley) Burris, Jim (Carol) Burris all of Lethbridge, AB., Glen (Tess) Burris of Sturgeon County, AB. and Alanna (Don) Parsons of Stettler, AB., 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

June 25, 1939- September 8, 2014 Ann passed away after a brief and dignified battle with cancer in the arms of her beloved husband Leo at the age of 75 years. Ann immigrated to Canada on July 29 1956 from the Netherlands with her parents and siblings and met her soul mate and the love of her life Leo, on that very day. Ann & Leo married on November 14, 1959, and embarked on a love story that has spanned almost 55 years.

BARNETT DOROTHY BARNETT, beloved wife of Michael Barnett of Lethbridge, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Dorothy was born September 7, 1940, in Magrath, Alberta. She went to school in Magrath, Alberta, and from there she met her future husband, Michael Barnett. Dorothy and Michael owned and operated Barnett Cattle Company together, and during the next 56 years together they raised six children: Jacquie, Kathy, Susan, Tracy (deceased), Jennifer, and Austin.

BERTHA HELEN BRADLEY passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Her memory will be cherished by her husband Ralph, her children Scott (Dorothy) Bradley and Kathi (Rocky) Kalischuk and her grandchildren Tyson and Kayla Kalischuk and Alyssa Miller. Bertha took great pride in her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved being with her patients, getting to know them and their families.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother BARBARA BUTKIEWICZ, of Lethbridge, Alberta. She passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the age of 74. Barbara came to Canada in 1967 to Tilley, Alberta. She was married for 23 years then moved to Lethbridge in 1990. Barbara is survived by her three children; Irene (Steve, Mika, Annika), Joe and John (Wendy, Scott, Rebecca, Maisy, Tytus).

CAROL ANNE BRAUSEN, beloved wife of Roger Brausen, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Besides her loving husband, Carol is survived by her children Bob (Corinne) Brausen of Medicine Hat and Venisa (Del) Garner of Taber, granddaughters Kelsey & Shea Garner, mother Thelma Lee of Kindersley, Sask., sister Bonnie Klettke of Kindersley, Sask. and her child Julie (Chris) Nicolson of Saskatoon, Sask.

CHRISTOPHER PAUL BRAND, passed away on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 in the company of his Dad (Dan) and Mom (Cori). Chris peacefully went to join his brother Darrel and Grandpa and Grandma Ron & Loretta Brand, to be in the presence of Christ. Chris is survived by his father Dan Brand, stepmother Cori Jorgenson Brand, and his loving son Nathan Brand. Chris was born in Blairmore, Alberta on March 5th, 1978.

Clara passed away quietly into the arms of our heavenly Father on Wednesday evening April 23 2014, 3 days after her 93rd birthday. She was born on April 20, 1921 in Lethbridge, loving daughter of George and Edna Bruchet. She attended the Catholic schools in the city and in her younger years was a member of the Junior Choir at St. Patrick's Church. She loved to sing and was often heard humming as she went about at whatever task she was doing.
